‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: It is hot.

Still reading ‘Guava Moon Revenge’ by Tom Corcoran from last week.

August 16th was RUM Day. I like coconut rum with orange juice and a cigar.

Speaking of Rum. This is an overgrown Rum Chair and some of his friends.

Teeki and I rode from the Gulf end of Duval.

To the Atlantic end of Duval.

On our trip we stopped to listen to Dallas. He is hard to see, but on the right side of the picture is a blue platform and Dallas has on stripped pants and shirt and playing 1960s music.

And we saw a guy that had been attacked by gravity outside Sloppy Joes.

Speaking of Duval Street and Sloppy Joe’s.

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday morning’.
