This Week on the Island 10/30/2016

  ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Beautiful the first of the week. Open the doors and the windows and let the breeze blow thru. It rained all day Thursday and the temp dropped t0 the mid 70’s. Cloudy and overcast for the week end.

The book this week was ‘Rip Tide’ by Dawn Lee McKenna.

We started the week with the Zombie Bike Ride from the airport to Duval Street.

This week was Fantasy Fest with lots and lots of people everywhere. For this week only, ‘if it is painted, it ain’t naked’.’

Friday was the local’s parade. All you have to do is show up. It would be nice if you wore a costume.  Walk from the Graveyard to Duval Street.
