This Week on the Island 02/20/2022

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Looks like winter is over.

From the Key West Citizen.

USCGC James at the Truman Waterfront.

Filled the car with gas this week. $4.699 a gallon here in Key West.

Also, the Key West Polar Plunge was this week.

Benita Justice stopped by at Schooner Wharf to say hi.

She is the lady that took this picture of me and Sassi dancing to ‘Schooner Wharf Bar Dog’. I really like this picture. Sassi looks like she really loved me.

A momma hen and babies. ‘Pick the left foot up, I said left not right’.

Presidents Day. This is John Hanson, the first President of the United States. He and others ran the country while Washington was busy defeating the British. Look it up. The Forgotten Presidents -

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday morning’. Pic from Bo Fodor
