written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key

Weather:
Another beautiful week and another rose by the front door.
This
week I continue to read ‘A Common History of Uncommon Things’ by Bethanne
Patrick and John Thompson.
Monday
afternoon while walking by Conch Republic Seafood, Boca fell in the bight. The
tide was out so it was about 10 feet to the water. I used the retractable lead to lead him to a
nearby boat. Some nice tourist jumped on the boat and brought him up on the
boat and put him on the dock.
While
walking the dogs I ran into Michael of http://conchscooter.blogspot.com/2014/02/tourist-key-west.html
, so he wrote a blog about us.
Saturday
was Civil War days. A bunch of folks boarded a schooner and sailed to fire
cannons at Fort Zack.
We
celebrated Tyler’s Birthday on Saturday at Schooner Wharf. We also had Jo’s
birthday and it was 13 years ago that we bought the house.
Dog
Cake for Tyler and Boca.
We
leave you this week with a tank made of twigs over at Higgs Beach.
Key West you have got to love it
