‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  Still Hot and Humid.

Kenny Chesney was in Key West this week to put on a performance.

At the end, he picked up the bar tab. Nice guy.

We all like to think we are nice people, but my shadow has a halo.

Saturday, on our after-lunch ride, I took this picture down at the Truman Waterfront.

September and October are kind of slow here in Key West. So, this will be a short blog.
