This Week on the Island 12/29/2019

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  December is the start of the ‘dry season’ in Key West, we have had almost 8 inches of rain this month, most of it last week. Still there were some beautiful days.

Started a new book this week.

Of course, this week included Christmas. Here is Lazy Way Lane all decked out.

Christmas Day was one of those days this week that was beautiful. (sorry about my finger getting in the way.)

It was so warm some kids were playing in the water park.

Had a friend and his wife come out of Schooner to say hi to Teeki and I as we went by on a Teeki ride around town.

Speaking of Schooner Wharf Bar. They have finally had to put a door on the men’s restroom. This is a picture looking out.

This is a picture from the outside. I don't know why we needed a door, no one ever closes it.

And this is me having a ‘White Christmas’.
