This Week on the Island 08/06/2017

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Lots of dust from the Sahara in North Africa in the air giving us beautiful sunsets. Hot and humid until November with a chance of a hurricane. 

This week’s book was ‘Razor Girl’ by Carl Hiaasen.

Overcast picture taken from the dog park on Trumbo Road. Teeki ran and played, I enjoyed the cool breeze.

After running in the dog park, Teeki went home to cool off in the tub.

This broke loose from a pier at Parrot Bay (near Home Depot) and was headed to Grand Isle, Louisiana.

Sunday will be ‘Battle of the Bars’ on Lazy Way Lane.

Last and maybe least, ‘Kim Kardashian just brought back cargo shorts’. Announced on MSN. What the hell have I been wearing for the last 18 years.
