Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends
about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those
parts that are lies.
Beautiful but warm. Lots of sunshine, blue skies, white clouds and temperature
in the high 80’s.

Monday it was over to Bayview Park to watch the re-dedication of the Blue Star
Memorial Highway and the addition of the Vietnam Veterans wall.
kept an eye out for changes to the city like the replacing of the old brick
walkway with wood around the bight.

Saturday the Key West Runners Club had a Half Marathon and a Marathon. A

The Mustard and Pretzel Company on Lazy Way Lane has closed but Fisherman is already moving back in.
Day is Monday. You remember the white man that never set foot in America.
