written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key

Weather:
I have used the same weather report for most of August, BUT when I got up
Wednesday morning it was 76 degrees. It is still August and it was 76 degrees.
I guess I better start looking for those winter clothes.
The book
this week was ‘An Appetite for Murder’ by Lucy Burdette. I
really enjoy sitting on my front porch in my rocking chair reading. There is a
96 room hotel being built across the street. They make lots of noise and
sitting on the porch is not quite as enjoyable as it used to be.

Every year at the last full moon in August
or the first full moon in September we have sex on the reef. The coral reef polyps
explode into the sea. It started last Saturday and is still happening. The eggs
glow in the dark sea and it is beautiful. It is a little bit like the night air
being full of fireflies.
I am not sure what it is. It looks like a
double decker under sea crawler. I would think you would use something like
this to look for sunken pirate treasure.

channel by Fort Zack state park.
Two real estate deals made the headlines,
first the sale of Perry Court and the other was the sale of a large housing
complex on the beach near the Southernmost Point.
‘I’ve got my toes in the water, my ass in
the sand, not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand, life is good today,
life is good today’. Zack Brown Band
This being Labor Day weekend and a 3 day
weekend, there are lots of folks in town and lots of bar crawls happening.
We close with the building of the new West
Marine in Key West.
