‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Another beautiful week.

Spring Break in Key West is from the first weekend of March until Easter Weekend. So, this year we will have 8 weeks of Spring Breakers.

One of our Teeki Rides this week. Down to Mallory Square.

Over to Higg’s Beach.

Then out on White Street Pier.

Then out to Smathers Beach.

And the old fort at the airport.

ALSO: The old Finnegan’s Wake is now ‘The Dirty Pig’.

There was a street fair on Lazy Way Lane on Saturday.
