This Week on the Island 09/23/2018

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The Weather: Wonderful sunsets.
No book this week.
It is September and the height of Hurricane Season so not many people plan on a vacation to Key West until the middle of October or later. Not a lot happening in town with lots of business closed for a week or two.
On our after lunch ‘Teeki Ride’ we went to the new park at The Truman Waterfront.
There were two cruise ships in the harbor. One at the Outer Mole.
The other at Pier B
And the Ingham at its normal spot.
At the dog park, Teeki sat with her back toward me. I guess she was mad about something.
We leave you this week with this:
Key West
Close to Perfect, Far from Normal’
