This Week on the Island 12/08/2013

‘This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: A beautiful week with the lows in the 70’s and the highs in the low 80’s and lots of sunshine.

This week I finished ‘Body Language’ by James W. Hall.

We adopted Tyler from Sarasota, FL. She is 10 years old and a beautiful girl. She has already made many friends around the island. Boca is showing her his island.

Jared, a friend passed this week. You may know him as a musician from Irish Kevin’s.

A friend of many years, Gregg, is visiting this week. We dressed for the occasion for Dec 7 (Pearl Harbor Day) and spent the day at Schooner.

This week end was Pirates week at Fort Zack.

We ended the week with the Christmas Parade on Friday night. This is a picture of Lazy Way Lane. The parade was wonderful, the pictures were not so great.
