This Week on the Island 12/10/2017

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: We had a cold front move thru on Saturday and it will be kind of cool for us for the next few days.

The book this week was Honorable Revenge by Mike Pettit.

Another movie about Key West. As usually they are filming somewhere else but they come to Key West to get a few shots to put in their movie. Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dog In Beach Bum.

We had the ‘Lighted Bike’ parade this week. It started out at Bayview park and ended on Duval Street.

The Court House Deli has reopened since Hurricane Irma. It is across the street from The Green Parrot.

The toll both on Card Sound Road has been removed. They will now use the same system as the Florida Turnpike.

Tropical Christmas.
