This Week on the Island 07/20/2014
‘This week on the Island' is
written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key
West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
Weather: We have lots of dust in the air from the Sahara in North Africa. This is creating beautiful sunsets with lots of colors.
This week I finished reading ‘Hot Mahogany’ by Stuart Woods.

Republic passed away Wednesday morning. Cancer
This week was
Hemingway Days (http://www.fla-keys.com/hemingwaymedia/
). There were lots of activities all around town, but the biggest event is the
Hemingway Look-A-Like contest that is held at Sloppy Joe’s.
Part of this
event is the Running of The Bulls
Of course, I had
to get in on the action.
We leave you
this week with a Key West sunset with all the African Dust from the Sahara in
the air.
Key West you have got to love it
