This Week on the Island 12/13/2015
‘This
Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends
about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those
parts that are lies.
Weather:
Beautiful. High in the low 80’s lows in
the low 70’s. Blue skies and white clouds.
My cell phone camera does not take very good pictures at night when there are lights in the picture, SO:
Last
Saturday was our Key West Holiday (Christmas) Parade. Boca and Koda enjoyed all the dog biscuits
tossed out by the parade participants.
Wednesday
was the Lighted Bike parade.
Friday
was Santa and the dogs at the end of Williams Street.
Saturday
was the Lighted Boat parade in the Key West Bight.
Flowers
are in bloom everywhere.
People
are hanging out on the beach.
Or
playing volley ball
The dogs
are hanging out on Dog Beach
I was
hanging our on the lower deck of Louis Back Yard. Blue skies, white clouds, waves slapping against the shore and an adult beverage. Life is good.
Clinton
Square, Key West air conditioned mall in old town.
Key West
Bait and Tackle, next to Half Shell
Johnny
Rockets on Duval has closed.
Key West
you have got to love it
