This Week on the Island 08/26/2018

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Still hot and humid, but a little cooler at night.

The book this week was ‘Gold in the Keys’ by Matthew Rief.  I like to read books about adventure in the Keys. Take one hero (ex-Navy Seal), some treasure (gold or ship wreak or both), some bad guys (drug gang from Mexico), Maybe some weather (hurricane), a woman and the good guys win.

A friend from Iowa was in town this week and brought us some corn.
