This Week on the Island 11/16/2014
‘This
Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends
about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those
parts that are lies.
Weather:
In the mid 70’s most days and the mid 60’s at night.
This
week I read ‘Key West – Dancing at the End of the Rainbow’ by Gordon Ross.
This
Week we, like most places, had our Veterans Day Parade.
Koda
went with me to watch.
And
let’s not forget Veterans Day Sunset.
The
Marker Resort across the street plans to open by December 1. This is a picture
from Lazy Way Lane.
This
picture of the Conch Republic Seafood is just to show how beautiful it was
Saturday.
So, I
went home and laid in the sun on the upstairs back deck. Worked on the tan a
little bit.
Boca got
another Spa day Saturday and is all pretty.
The
SMART ride from Miami to Key West arrived in Key West at
about 2:40 PM Saturday.
Life is
good.
Key West
you have got to love it
