‘This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: In the low 80’s in the day and low 70’s at night. Lots of sunshine.

The book this week was ‘SCAT’ by Carl Hiaasen.

Sassi, my husky, has left the island. She will be missed greatly

But life goes on and cruise ships come to the island

And there is Art in the park

And more art in the park

And the Iguana continues on his path

And the arches that have stood for over 150 years remain standing

And the music still plays

And people (and dogs) sail away.
