This Week on the Island 01/09/2022

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

 The Weather: Cold front coming in. Will get down to the 60’s on Monday.

New Years Eve 1971 I asked her to be mine. Good choice on my part.

New Years Eve, 2 guys set a Christmas tree on fire against the Southernmost Point. Yes, they have been caught (they are not from Key West).

People still lined up to take pictures of the burn marks.

By Jan 7^th it is back to normal.

Tuesday was a cold day with the temp at 65 degrees.
