This Week on the Island 10/27/2019
‘This Week on the
Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings
in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The
Weather: The rainy season last until 1 December,
that is when we burn the hurricane flag, and the rain is still here most every
day.
The
Island of Key West has been very busy this Fantasy Fest week with well over
50,000 visitors. Pic from Rob O’Neal.
A new
dog in the dog park. He is Teddy, a Pomsky, Pomeranian/husky mix. He is a
little thing.
Key West
has completed ’The Wall’. They are re-enforcing the sea wall at the bight from
Conch Republic to Jimmy Buffett’s recording studio. Teeki is inspecting.
We have
a new flower at our front fence.
The Zombie
Bike ride was last Sunday. Pic from the Key West Citizen.
The Hero’s
and Villains 5K run. Pic from the Key West Citizen.
This is
some friends from The Locals Parade. It rained, Jo, Teeki and I got soaked.
This
group was in The Locals Parade.
I guess
they were here for:
Some
people are not professionals. Drunk, passed out on the hood of a car, and
pissed all over himself.
Ran into
some Facebook Friends on Lazy Way Lane.
Fantasy
Fest 2019 is over and we survived. Now back to normal living.
No wait,
the Parrot Heads will be here next week.
Key West,
Close to
Perfect, Far from Normal’
