This Week on the Island 01/05/2020

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

This week started a new trip around the sun. We celebrated here with a Conch Shell drop at Sloppy Joes (old pic)

Sushi in a big red slipper.

A pirate wench at Schooner Wharf (old pic)

And a lime at Sun Set Pier.(old pic)

Teeki and I took a ride down to Fort Zack Park. It looks like the wall to the left has had bricks replaced and the wall to the right is waiting for the brick masons.

It was a beautiful day to kick off a new year.

We went to Schooner Wharf and listened to Michael McCloud.

I had chips and salsa, a cold beer, and a little cigar. Teeki had Schooner Wharf water with ice.
