This Week on the Island 05/13/2018

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Well we finally got that rain I was hoping for. It appears that the dry season is over and the rainy-hurricane season got here about 2 weeks early.

Last week was The Song Writers Convention. Lots of good times and people everywhere. Pics from The Key West Citizen.

It was also my birthday. I went back to the VA and had the cast removed after my ‘total ankle replacement’. The birthday present was they put me in a Frankin-Boot and not another cast. I can remove the boot for sleeping and for bathing.

Also, we had Mother’s Day so Jo got a new car.

It is still raining.
