‘This week on the Island' is
written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key
West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather:
We had 2 days of winter and then it got nice again. This week we had another
cold front and more cold weather. It is supposed to be back to 70 by Sunday.
This
week I read ‘Red Sky at Night’ by James Hall.
The
Wounded Warriors bike ride from Miami to Key West arrived in Key West this week.
They went to the Truman Waterfront for a formal meeting. They ate at Margaretville
and then they went to Aqua for entertainment.
The
USS Cole came to Key West to give the Sailors some R&R. It is docked at the
outer mole. The Cole was the ship that had a hole blown in the side and seamen
killed in Yemen.
Saturday
was the Seafood Festival at Bayview Park
This
bus has a rooster on the top front and a hen on the top back.
Key West you have got to love it
