This Week on the Island 12/19/2021

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Doors and windows open, nice breeze. 80 degrees.

Teeki and I take morning walks before the sunrises. One day this week we went down Caroline Street past the old Pirates Well and on to Whitehead Street.

Then down Whitehead to The Green Parrot and on to Southard Street. Up Southard to Elizabeth and back to Caroline.

Another morning we ended up at the Key West Bight with some of the ships that were in the ‘Lighted Boat Parade’.

Then up Lazy Way Lane and back to home.

The USCGC Ingham is in dry dock.

Saturday at the Key West Docks.

Saturday on Caroline Street.

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday morning’. Pic from Bo Fodor.
