written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key

Weather:
Summer is here. The weather for the next 4 months will be hot and humid with a
chance for rain.
This
week I finished reading ‘Dead Eyes’ by Stuart Woods.
We will start this week with the ‘Life is
Short, bus’ here in Key West. Note the chicken on the top of the bus, front and
back. Life is short and you need to enjoy it.
How about a beautiful picture, thanks to
Howard Livingston’s Facebook post, of the sky and water on July 4th.
Or maybe a picture of ‘The World’s Largest
Key Lime Pie’ from Rob O’Neal’s Facebook post on July 4th.
Or the picture of the Key Lime Pie eating
contest, again from Rob O’Neal’s Facebook post on July 4th.
And of course there was the July 4th
fireworks at White Street Pier, thanks to Rob O’Neal’s Facebook post. Sure you
had fireworks, but were they thru the palm trees.
Maybe you would like some free mangos.
Picture from Boca’s and Koda’s walk on July 4th.
Key West you have got to love it
