This Week on the Island 11/06/2016

  ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Beautiful all week.

The book this week was ‘What Washes Up’ by Dawn Lee McKenna.

This week was M.O.T.H. (Meeting of the Minds) with lots of Parrot Heads (Jimmy Buffett fans) in town. Most of their activities were around their headquarters The Casa Marina.

They were all wanting Jimmy Buffett to show up, but he just finished a concert in Okinawa.

I ran into many old friends.

We leave you this week with a picture and of the Parrot Heads on Duval Street from last year. (I was a little busy and didn’t make it on Friday this year).
