This Week on the Island 01/08/2017
‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update
to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except
for those parts that are lies.
Weather:
Winter got here Saturday afternoon. The
wind started blowing, the rain came down, and the temperature is supposed to be
in the mid 60’s by tomorrow morning.
Lots of
people everywhere, but not a lot happening this week.
The
church on the corner of Duval and Eaton was tented to be gassed for termites.
I took
Teeki to Dog Beach where she had a great time playing with another dog. The little dog to the right not the young lady.
The
Wounded Warriors riding across the 7 Mile Bridge Saturday morning. They got to
Key West a little before noon. Picture from the Key West Citizen.
Our
pineapple plant by the front walk is blooming. That little red thing will be a pineapple someday.
It is
that time of the year, if you have ever been to Key West, you know the feeling.
Key West
you have got to love it
