This Week on the Island 07/19/2015

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
Weather: Same as the last four weeks. In the high 80’s with lots of humidity. Lots of sunshine, white clouds and blue skies.
No book this week.
TOURIST
Lots of tourist come to Key West on cruise ships that dock near Mallory Square
If you decide to walk around town you may want to visit CVS, on the first block of Dual, for some drugs that you will need later
On the 100 block of Duval is Hogs Breath
A short walk down to the 200 block of Duval will take you to Sloppy Joes
Or Ricks
Or around the corner to Captain Tony’s
One more block down Duval and at you are at the Bull and Whistle
On the 500 block is Margaritaville

And Willie T’s
And Walgreens
The other end of Duval is the Atlantic Ocean and South Beach
Around the corner is the Southernmost Point
Down Whitehead is Hemingway’s
And the Green Parrot
And the end of US#1
We leave you this week at Truman Annex and the USNS Spearhead (JHSV 1) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USNS_Spearhead_%28T-JHSV-1%29#External_links
P.S. Thanks to Dave and Karen for bring us some Iowa corn. It was great.
