‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

 The Weather: Oh NO, down to the low 60’s on Monday. How will we survive? If it is this cold here, You guys must be freezing your butts off.

The old 7-mile bridge re-opened this week. Well at least the part going out to Pigeon Key.

Wednesday and 74 degrees. Beautiful.

Saturday with Michael McCloud at Schooner Wharf Bar. Friends, beer, sunshine, music. It don’t get much better than this. And the friends picked up the tab.

Sunday morning and a half-marathon. Just in case you thought all we did in Key West was bar hop. (Not me, I’m not running.)
