This Week on the Island 07/31/2016

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Forcast for next 4 months: Hot and humid with a chance for showers. Maybe a Hurricane or two.

This week I read ‘North Murder Beach’ by Rodney Riesel.

This week was Mini- Lobster Season. Lots of rules, etc.

 Basically each person can harvest 6 lobster each for the two days. Our lobster do not have claws, we call them bugs.

If you have lots of people on your boat you can get lots of lobster.

Other than that, Jo and I took Boca to The Water Front Brewery for Yappy Hour on Thursday.

The Western Union has been moved to dry dock again for repairs.

The brick patio outside Conch Republic Seafood has been replaced. It looks much nicer now.
