This Week on the Island 01/20/2019

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Cold the first part of the week (low 60’s) but then beautiful by the weekend (high 70’s).

We started the week with a Teeki ride down to Fort Zack state park.

We also had breakfast at Schooner Wharf one day.

Lots of people sitting at the bar drinking breakfast.

We spent some time listening to Michael McCloud.

Teeki got some sleep under the table.

Walt Disney was in town Saturday.

We also had a big run on Sunday morning with over 4,400 people signed up to run.

But guess what got here just as the race was supposed to start.
