This Week on the Island 09/27/2015

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: The last of September and the height of hurricane season. Not a lot of people on vacation. Many places are closed so the employees can take some time off.

Seven ‘o’ clock Saturday night and I have NO pictures for the blog so the dogs and I took a walk. Down Caroline Street and stop at Simonton in front of the Cypress House.

On down Caroline to the Curry Manson

And on to Duval and the Bull and Whistle.

Then it is down Duval to Sloppy Joes 

 And around the corner to Captain Tony’s.

Then on down Duval to Hogs Breath

And up Front Street pass the Island Dog

Then back to the Bight and A&B Lobster

And The Conch Republic Seafood Restaurant.

Boca, Koda and I thank you for talking our evening walk with us. It is always good to have company.
