This Week on the Island 04/09/2015

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather:  Again, same as last week, and the week before, and the week before.

 This week I continued to read ‘Cuba Straits’ by Randy Wayne White.

Monday Taste of Key West on the Truman waterfront. Lot of restaurants serving lots of good food.

Tuesday VA Miami, I am losing the pigmentation in my skin (Vitiligo). Don't know what causes it, don't know how to cure it, is not contagious .

Wednesday Boca Spa Day. He is now all clean and fluffy.

Friday  Started the 33^rd Anniversary of the Conch Republic  (April 23,1982) with the raising of the flag at Fort Zack.

Saturday Cow Key Channel Bridge Run

Saturday Drag Races on Duval Street with Key West drag queens.
