This Week on the Island 08/02/2020

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Beautiful all week.

We had a little over 100 cases of Corvid-19 on 1 June. They took down the roadblock coming to the Keys. Now, 1 August we have over 1,300 cases of Corvid-19.

We also are fighting Dengue Fever.

And a hurricane.

We had ‘mini lobster season on Wednesday and Thursday. Our lobster do not have claws and we call them bugs.

Look out a hurricane is coming.

Oh no, it is headed straight for us.

Nope it is off the eastern coast of Florida,

Nope it is now headed for Miami.

Now it headed up the coast. No wonder we don't pay attention to these forecast.
