This Week on the Island 12/08/2019

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  Beautiful. Sitting on the front porch in my rocking chair and reading. Life is good for this old guy.

Last Saturday was the last day of November and the burning of the hurricane flag.

We also had the Lighted Bike Parade.

And it appears that Hogs Breath has waited on the ‘dry season’ to begin before removing their canvas roof. I expect a replacement soon.

Tonight, will be the Key West Holiday Parade. These are pictures from last year. Our group from the Key West Dog Park on the Bight.
