This Week on the Island 11/13/2016

  ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Beautiful all week. Same as last week.

No book this week.

Had some problems with the Chevy Tracker this week. I could shift from 1st to 3^rd to 5^th but couldn’t get it to go into 2^nd and 4^th. Double clutching worked and then it didn’t anymore. Found the clutch fluid was low but that didn’t fix it either. I guess it goes to the shop next week.

Jo’s electric trike took up lots of my time this week.  It has an intermitting problem where it just quits running. I keep thinking I have found it only for it to quit on me again.

This week was Veterans Day.

We also had Off Shore Power Boat Racing. The island is packed and noisy.

Never a dull moment in Key Weird.
