This Week on the Island 12/1/2018
‘This Week on the
Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings
in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The
Weather: The summer went away and winter came for 3 days. It got below 60 at
night and stayed below 70 all day. It is now back into the low 80’s. It was a
long cold winter.

This week
a friend, Tara, posted some pictures of the Christmas Lights around the bight.
We also
had the end of Hurricane Season, Dec 1, and the burning of the Hurricane Flags.
Teeki
and I took another ride down to Fort Zack State Park.
There
was a meeting at the new City Hall and this picture was hanging on the wall.
The Spanish looked like modern-day Florida Tourist in their colorful shorts.
And
Teeki had a birthday party at the dog park for her human and furry friends.
