This Week on the Island 09/13/2020

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Our current weather situation.

Coming up this week. The middle of September is the height of Hurricane season.

The A/C broke last week end (a holiday weekend), so we moved upstairs. Teeki made herself comfortable in the bath tub. A/C fixed and we have moved back down stairs.

Monday was Labor Day.

The Southernmost point in the continental USA. Not many people visiting, but check out that water and the sky.

We have Bufo frogs. When endanger they excrete a poison. If you dog licks it, your dog will probably die. They seem to appear after a heavy rain.

Tortou and Teeki having a meal together.

Sunset over the bight across Trombo Road from the dog park.

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday morning’
