‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: It has been a beautiful week and looks like more to come next week.

Well I missed it, but here is the Key West Polar Bear Plunge. It happened a few weeks ago.

This week we had Valentine’s Day.

If you have never been to Key West, we are way down here at the end of Florida. We are closer to Havana than we are to the nearest Walmart.

And if you ever wonder why we live way down here.

And I’m easy, easy like Sunday morning.
