Weather: Friday, Key West got over 4 inches of rain in 3 hours. Downtown was flooded. The tide went out and the water went away.

This week I read ‘Unnatural Acts’ by Stuart Woods.

Mel Fisher Days was this week (July 12 – 15, 2012)

This is a picture of a Spanish Galleon like the Nuestra Senora de Atocha that was found by Mel Fisher

Twenty six years ago Mel Fisher and his team found the Atocha and with it over $400 million in gold, silver and precious stones.

The Kick-Off party and bikini contest were held Thursday at 6:00 PM at Schooner Wharf Bar.

Mel Fisher may be gone but his hand prints are still at Schooner Wharf.

---------------Other Stuff-------------------

Marty, a member of the Mile Marker 24 Band, was hit by a vehicle while walking Hanna. Marty went to the hospital and has been released. Hanna took off and the search was on. She had swum to an offshore mangrove island. She is now safe.

Saturday afternoon we had an iguana look in the glass front door. He watched us for a while and then moved on.
