 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Last Sunday we had one of my cousins and her family in town

The city has finished with the Caroline Street update. On the first 3 blocks of Caroline Street the parking is on the left. At the new updated Caroline Street the parking is on the right. Crossing Elizabeth Street the yellow line in the middle of the street moves a few feet to the left. Interesting.

This week was Hemingway Days with a street fair on Duval.

Lots of Hemingway' at Sloppy Joe's.
