Weather:
Another beautiful week. Highs in the mid 80’s with lots of sun, blue skies,
white clouds and a nice breeze.
The
book this week was ‘Blood Orchid’ by Stuart Woods.
Memorial
Day Weekend.
The 23rd
annual Minimal Regatta will be Sunday at Schooner Wharf Bar. Teams build a boat
out of one sheet of plywood, two 2x4’s, and some screws. You may paint your
boat but you cannot use any caulking. The race starts about 2:00 PM and last
until after sunset. Sets of 4 boats at a time race the course in the Key West
Bight. One winner in each set of 4 races in the simi-finals until there is one
winner. Prizes range from ‘faster sinker’, ‘best paint job’, etc.
