 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Forcast for next 5 months: Hot and humid with a chance for showers.

This week I read ‘Somewhere on the Road to Key West’ by Michael Reisig.

This week was Mystery Writers in Key West.

Also this week was ‘Pride Key West’.

Along with Pride Fest was a Street Fair on the 700 and 800 block of Duval.

The city has set a bunch of cross walk pavers in front of the house.

We took another trip to Marathon to bring Koda home. I sure miss that girl. I put the box with her ashes on my side of the bed where she slept at night.
