This Week on the Island 11/10/2019
‘This Week on the
Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings
in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The
Weather: Cold front came in
yesterday. Time to get out the winter clothes. Expected high today of only 81
degrees
This week
I started reading
This ’57
Chevy was parked on Caroline Street.
Took Jo
for blood work. This was my view as I sat outside on the bench looking at the
Gulf of Mexico across the highway.
It was
such a nice day, she wanted to go to Home Depot to get some tomato plants.
Teeki
and I left the dog park and were going down Lazy Way Lane when we ran into this
guy from Maine. He reads the blog. He was walking his St. Bernard.
This
Week was Off Shore Power Boat Racing. They had a few flip.
We leave
you with this beautiful picture.
Tomorrow
is the anniversary of the end of WWI. It ended on the 11th hour of
the 11th day of the 11th month. We now celebrate that day
as Veterans Day.
