This Week on the Island 07/18/2021

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: It is hot and humid. Rain most every night so when the sun comes up the humidity ruses.

Kelly, who is a friend, fell and broke her hip. We are all wishing her the best and a quick recovery.

USNS Burlington (T-EPF-10) is docked at the outer mole.

A pod of manatee were swimming at the Truman Waterfront.

We also had a rally to show support for Cuba.

By the end of the week, we had the T-EPF-10 and the T-EPF-11 ( USNS Puerto Rico) docked at the outer mole.

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday Morning’. Pic from Sue Delp.
