This Week on the Island 09/18/2016

  ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: The rainy season starts in June and last thru November. The rainy season is also hurricane season with the height of hurricane season being the middle of September. On the good side, it has been beautiful all week.

The book this week was ‘Tanzi’s Game’ by C. I. Dennis.

This week was The Poker Run and The Musicians Festival. If you like motorcycles, then you should have been in Key West.

The Musicians Festival was held at Smoking Tuna.

We will end this week with a Key West sunrise and a Key West sunset from Howard Livingston.
