This Week on the Island 04/10/2016

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Same as last week. Beautiful all week. Cooler than normal. Nice.

The book this week was ‘Last Flight Out’ by Clay Greager. Great little book with ‘Nam stories. 

 The Seven Mile Bridge run was Saturday.

  Jo needed a new tire on the front of her tricycle so I ordered three. (A tricycle has 3 tires and if one is worn out then all three are about the same.) I replaced the front tire and a few days later she ran over a screw with one of the back tires, so I replaced it also. Saturday morning I went ahead and replaced the other tire. Now she has three new tires on her trike. Well that is about a week’s work for this old retired guy. Hers is the one with the silver fenders.
