This Week on the Island 12/27/2020

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  Same as last week. Another cold front followed by weather in the mid 70’s. Today 12/26/2020 was the coldest day this winter with the temp dropping to 54 degrees.

Iguana are big lizards. When it gets cold, they fall out of the trees. If you get hit by one, it hurts.

We don’t get snow, but we get lots of sunshine. We also don’ shovel sunshine.

Teeki and I on our early morning walk this week, went down to The Margaritaville Resort. It is on the waterfront and next to Mallory Square. Lots and lots of Christmas lights.

Thank you to all ‘Vets’ everywhere. Especially to us old gray ‘Nam Vets.

A little Key West Christmas.

Santa after Christmas needs to take a vacation somewhere it is warm.

We leave you with Easy like Sunday morning.
