This Week on the Island 10/27/2013

‘This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: A cold front came thru Wednesday night. The temperature was in the mid to low 80’s for the rest of the week will very little humidity.

The book this week was ‘Living Proof’ by Kevin May. Again another book written to include people and places around Key West. I really enjoyed this one.

One of the new, Coast Guard high speed patrol boats entering service... Open for tours at Mallory 

A fuel ship coming past Mallory Square heading for the Coast Guard Docks. It is riding high in the water because they have to offload most of the fuel before coming into the shallow waters of the Keys.
