‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

 The Weather: Another beautiful Week. The rainy season starts in June. Looks like some of that got off-schedule.

Hope you had a wonderful Easter

Michael McCloud is retiring and moving to Arizona. His last day is April 30. He will be missed.

We are still in the dry season, but Wednesday morning we got some rain.

But Wednesday at 1PM it was beautiful again.

Thursday, Ft Lauderdale Airport was closed due to flooding.

Also, Thursday the Blue Angles flew over Duval Street here in Sunny Key West.

Friday the seaweed arrived on the Atlantic side of the island, but the gulf side is still clear.  Pic of Bahia Honda State Park from Sue Delp Aprea.
